New Beginnings: 7 Chakra Sound Healing with Bhante Rahula
New Beginnings: 7 Chakra Sound Healing with Bhante Rahula
1/1/25 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Blue Lotus Buddhist Temple and Meditation Center, 221 Dean St, Woodstock, IL 60098, USA
This meditation and sound bath is geared specifically towards healing by aligning our seven chakras. This is especially powerful as we enter the new year and wish to cultivate a positive beginning.
Purchase tickets here.
Bhante will be giving healing 7 chakra crystal towers to all attendees. They received a 7 day blessing in Sri Lanka. He will then bless them once a day for the seven days prior to January 1, chanting the Ratana Sutra 108 times. This powerful chant is known to be one that is deeply protective in its blessings. Each chakra represents an important element in our bodies: root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye, and crown - which Bhante Rahula will describe in depth. By using this healing energy, we can connect with our body and mind. The cost for this event is $55. It is an hour and a half, and you will take home a hand made blessed chakra bracelet from Sri Lanka. Bhante Rahula is a Buddhist monk and was ordained over 30 years ago. He is certified in sound healing and combines loving kindness meditation, ancient Buddhist chanting, and the use of quartz crystal singing bowls.

Fresh Start: Healing for the New Year - Sound Bath with Lori Lea
Fresh Start: Healing for the New Year - Sound Bath with Lori Lea
1/10/25 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Blue Lotus Buddhist Temple and Meditation Center, 221 Dean St, Woodstock, IL 60098, USA
Take time to refresh and renew as we enter 2025. This is an opportunity for self care, and resetting your mind, body, and spirit.
Fresh Start: Healing for the New Year.
Register here!
It is time to renew your spirit and embark on your path to enlightenment. This is our time to look forward and let go of old patterns and beliefs. Open your heart and listen to your spirit.
A sound bath is a full body meditative experience that assists you into a deeper state of consciousness, giving you the chance to unplug and focus on your inner self. The use of crystal singing bowls and gongs create deep vibrations at specific frequencies to help you relax, reduce stress, release toxins, relieve physical pains and improve cognition and inner peace.
About Lori Lea: My journey of reconnecting and healing started after experiencing burnout from working over 20 years in the corporate world. In 2019, I attended a Holistic Healing Expo and a few speakers stories completely resonated with me which put me on the energy healing path. After obtaining a few certifications as Energy Healing Practitioner and Sound Practitioner, I discovered Sound Baths reach a broader audience which lifts people up without any fear and alleviates stress and brings people’s body back into harmony. Especially, with the busyness of the world and the overstimulation of our lives with little time for self care sharing the tranquility and transformation of sound healing is a true passion of mine.
Be sure to bring something comfortable to sit on - a yoga mat, pillow or blanket, and arrive 10-15 minutes early to find a good spot to get settled.
